Audrey Marcee’s three-run double in the top of the 7th inning broke open a 5-5 tie and propelled St. James to an 11-7 win over Salem Monday. Marcee finished 3-4 with six RBI in the game as Salem falls to 0-2 on the year. The Lady Tigers will host Alton Thursday afternoon at 4:30 at the Salem City Park Field. The Salem Lady Volleyball Tigers open their season tonight against St. James starting at 5:30 at the SHS Gym. KSMO Radio will broad-cast the varsity contest starting at about 6:45.

The Salem Lady Volleyball Tigers match scheduled at Bunker for Thursday evening at 6:00 has been moved to the Salem High School due to the gym floor at Bunker being resurfaced.

The St. Louis Cardinals, winners of nine straight series, open a three game series with the Pittsburgh Pirates tonight at Busch Stadium at 7:15. KSMO will join the game in progress after Salem Lady Tiger Volleyball.

The Kansas City Royals open a two game series with Detroit tonight in Kansas City.
