The Salem Lady Tiger Volleyball team will be at Summersville for a Jamboree today. Salem will play Licking at 6:00 and Summersville at 7:00.

The City of Salem Parks and Recreation Department is holding registration for their 2022 Flag Football program and cheerleading program through Monday. The cost is $35 for football which includes a shirt, and $45 for cheerleading which includes a shirt and poms. These programs are for boys and girls in the 1st through 6th grade. Registration sheets can be found at the Salem Community Center@The Armory or you can go the Salem Park and Recreation Facebook page and apply at the go.teamsnap link that is available. Jordan Montgomery pitched a complete game shutout allowing only one hit and Albert Pujols hit a leadoff home run in the 7th inning, his 14th of the year and 693rd of his Career as the Cardinals beat the Chicago Cubs, 1-0. The Cards and Cubs play two today starting today at 12:25 and again at 6:10 tonight on KSMO Radio.

Albert Pujols and Paul Goldschmidt shared the National League Players of the Week for last week, the first time that has happened in 10 years.

Kansas City beat the Chicago White Sox Monday in Kansas City, 6-4 as the Royals scored four runs in the 1st inning. The Royals will host Arizona in a short two-game set starting tonight at Kaufmann Stadium.
