The Salem Football Tigers will hold a Blue-White Scrimmage this evening at 6:00 at the Salem High School Football, weather permitting. There is no charge to attend the scrimmage where you will get a chance to preview this year’s Salem Tiger Football Team. The scrimmage today has been cancelled because of the rain.

The City of Salem Parks and recreation Department is holding registration for their 2022 Flag Football program and cheerleading program through August 29th. The cost is $35 for football which includes a shirt, and $45 for cheerleading which includes a shirt and poms. These programs are for boys and girls in the 1st through 6th grade. The St. Louis Cardinals had Monday off and are scheduled to play Colorado tonight at 6:45 on KSMO Radio.

Royals’ first baseman Vinnie Pasquantino hit a two-run homer in the 1st inning, but Kansas City couldn’t hold on to their 2-0 lead and fell to the Minnesota Twins Monday night, 4-2 at Target Field. The Royals and Twins play again tonight.
