The Salem Lady Softball Tigers won their first game of the year Monday afternoon and the first win in the career of Coach Erin Wilson, as they beat the Cabool Lady Bulldogs, 12-4. Salem improves to 1-2 on the year and 1-1 in the SCA Conference. The Lady Tigers will host Dixon today at the Salem City Park starting at 4:30. KSMO Media and Radio will broadcast the game starting with Tiger Talk and Coach Wilson around 4:15.

Garren Hall threw a five-inning two-hitter and the Houston Tigers took advantage of six Salem errors as they beat Salem Monday afternoon, 12-0. Houston finished with 12 hits on the game sending Salem to their third straight loss. Salem will host St. James today at the SHS Baseball Field Complex starting at 4:30. The Tigers enter the game with a 2-6 record.

The Salem Tigers Track teams will be at St. James for the St. James Open today at 3:30.

The Salem Golf team will be at Willow Springs Tuesday at 4:00 at the Willow Springs Open.

Ronald Acuna, Jr. slugged a three-run homer and finished 3-4, plus Austin Riley and Ozzie Albies also homered for Atlanta as they beat the St. Louis Cardinals Monday night, 8-4. Paul Goldschmidt was 2-4 and hit his first homer of the year as the Cardinals stranded 11 runners. The Cards and Braves play again tonight after Lady Tiger Softball around 6:35.

The Kansas City Royals scored three runs in the 1st inning and four more in the 4th inning as they beat the Toronto Blue Jays Monday night, 9-5 for their first win of the season. The Royals and Blue Jays play again tonight at Kaufmann Stadium.

The St. Louis Blues play the Philadelphia Flyers tonight at 7:00 at the Enterprise Center. KSMO will not air the game due to St. Louis Cardinals baseball. The Blues on Sunday were officially eliminated from the Stanley Cup playoffs.
