Blake Edwards RBI single in the bottom of the 6th inning drove in the go-ahead run and Salem added two more runs in the 6th inning as they came from a 3-0 deficit to beat Mountain View-Liberty Monday, 6-3. Kaiden Dubois pitched a complete game giving up six hits and three runs, and hit a home run for the Tigers. Salem will be at St. Clair this afternoon at 4:30 in non-conference play. The Salem Lady Softball Tigers shut out Mountain Grove Monday, 10-0 as they improved to 3-5 on the year, 2-3 in the SCA Conference. The Lady Tigers will be at Ava Thursday night.

The Salem Tigers Golf Team will be at the Houston Open today starting at 4:00.

The Salem Tennis Team beat the Mountain View-Liberty Eagles Monday, eight matches to one. They will be a part of the West Plains Invitational Wednesday at West Plains. Salem is 6-3 on the year.

Pavin Smith’s grand slam in the 7th inning capped a five-run inning as Arizona beat the St. Louis Cardinals Monday, 6-3. Alec Burleson hit a two-run homer for the Cardinals who will play the Diamondbacks starting tonight at 5:50 or immediately after Salem Baseball on KSMO.

The Kansas City Royals had only one hit and lost to the Texas Rangers Monday night, 4-0. Matt Duffy had the only hit for KC who fall to 4-13 on the year. They continue their series against Texas tonight at Kaufmann Stadium.
