At Willow Springs Monday, Rogan Traver of Willow Springs outpitched Kaiden Dubois as the Bears beat Salem, 4-2. Owen Hamilton and Dubois each drove in Trethan Rictor with doubles. Traver gave up six hits and Dubois gave up seven. Salem falls 3-8 on the year and 1-2 in the SCA Conference. Salem will play at Thayer Thursday afternoon at 4:30 on KSMO.

The Salem Lady Softball Tigers play Licking this afternoon at 5:00 at the Salem City Park. KSMO Radio will air the contest and KSMO Media will stream that game starting around 4:45 with Tiger Talk and Coach Erin Wilson.

The Salem Tigers Tennis Team lost to the Rolla Bulldogs on Monday, no matches to nine. They are 3-3 on the season and will host Willow Springs this afternoon at the Salem City Park starting at 4:00.

The Salem Varsity Track Teams will host the Salem Invitational today at 2:00 at the Salem High School.

The St. Louis Cardinals lose to the Colorado Rockies Monday night, 7-4. Paul Goldschmidt had two hits and two RBI for the Red Birds while Steve Matz went 5 2/3rds innings and gave up six runs. Jordan Walker extended his career-opening hitting streak to 10 games passing Ted Williams for the second most consecutive games for a rookie to start a season. The Cards and Rockies play again tonight starting at 6:45 or right after Lady Tiger softball on KSMO.

The Kansas City Royals gave up seven runs in the 6th inning and lost to the Texas Rangers Monday, 11-2. They will play again tonight.

The St. Louis Blues will wrap up their regular season Wednesday and Thursday night against the Dallas Stars. KSMO will not carry the game Thursday night due to Cards baseball but will carry the final regular season home game Wednesday night starting at 6:30.
