The Salem Lady Softball Tigers are seeded 5th in District play that will begin next week in Aurora. Salem will play Aurora at 6:00 Tuesday evening. The cost of admission is $5.00 for anyone who is six years of age and older. The Lady Tigers will be at Union today at 4:30 in their final regular season game. Salem enters the game with a 9-10 record.

The Salem Middle School 7th and 8th Football Teams will play Houston today in their final home games of the season. The games begin at 5:30 at the SHS High School Field.

The Salem Cross Country teams will be at Licking today at 4:00 for the Licking Cross Country Invitational.

The Salem Lady Volleyball Tigers will be in the Licking Tournament this Saturday

Chris Taylor’s two out two-run homer in the bottom of the 9th inning off of Alex Reyes to give the Los Angeles Dodgers a 3-1 win over the St. Louis Cardinals ending their season. Tommy Edman had three hits for the Cardinals who went 0-11 with men in scoring position. T.J. McFarland took the loss for the Red Birds.

The St. Louis Blues blew a 3-0 lead and lost to Minnesota in overtime, 4-3. Mackenzie MacEchern, Nathan Walker and Robert Bortuzzo each scored for the Blues who fall 3-3-1 in the preseason. They play Columbus Friday night in a game you can hear after Salem Tiger Football on KSMO Radio.

The Missouri Tigers will host North Texas This Saturday afternoon starting at 3:00 on KSMO. Missouri is 2-3 on the year.
