The Salem Football Tigers will be home to face the Cabool Bulldogs Friday night in their final regular season game starting at 7:00. Salem enters the game with a 3-5 record overall and 2-4 in the SCA Conference. Cabool is also 3-5 overall and 1-5 in the SCA Conference. The City of Salem Youth Basketball League registration will be held now through October 26th at the Salem Community Center@The Armory at 1200 West Rolla Road between 8:00 in the morning and 4:30 in the afternoon. The league is available for boys and girls from the 1st through the 6th grade. The 1st and 2nd grade teams will be co-ed. The games will be held at the Salem High School in December every Saturday starting on December 1st. The cost is $25 per player. Brendan Gallagher scored with ten seconds left in regulation time and the Montreal Canadiens beat the St. Louis Blues, 3-2. Brayden Schenn and Vince Dunn scored power play goals for St. Louis in the game. The Blues will be in Toronto Saturday at 5:30 with the game on KSMO Radio.
