The Salem Tigers Baseball game scheduled with Mountain View-Liberty yesterday was cancelled due to weather. No make-up date has been announced at this time.

The Salem Baseball Tournament that was scheduled to begin today has been pushed back to start Friday. Here is the revised schedule:

Friday: Salem Varsity Tournament
St. Clair vs Salem 11:30
St. Clair vs Sullivan 2:00
Sullivan vs Salem 4:30

Saturday: Salem Varsity Tournament
Licking vs Waynesville 10:00
Waynesville bs Pacific 12:30
Licking vs Pacific 3:00
Championship Game 5:30 (First from each pool)

The tournament schedule may change again depending on the weather situation. If played, these games will NOT be aired on KSMO.

The Salem Tiger Tennis team will host Mountain Grove today at 4:30, weather permitting. Salem is 5-7 on the season. NOTE: This match has been cancelled and will not be made up.

The Middle School SCA Track meet will be held today at Willow Springs, weather permitting. NOTE: the meet for today has been postponed and a makeup date will be at a later date.

SMDH Family Medicine located on the SMDH Campus in Physician Office Building #3 is offering FREE sports physicals for all school-aged children that will be participating in sports activities in 2022 from Monday, May 9th through Friday, May 13th. They are open from 8:00 in the morning until 6:00 in the evening. A parent or guardian MUST be present with the child. Call to schedule an appointment today at 729-8000.

Nolan Arenado hit a 3-run homer and drove in 5 runs while Adam Wainwright pitched 7 innings of one-hit ball leading the St. Louis Cardinals to a 10-0 win over Kansas City. Kansas City has the day off and the Cards will be in San Francisco to face the Giants in a four-game series. The game can be heard on KSMO starting at 7:50 with the pregame show.

Kirill Kaprizov scored three goals and Joel Ericksson Ek netted two goals as the Minnesota Wild beat the St. Louis Blues Wednesday, 6-2 to even the series at one game each. Vladimir Tarasenko and Jordan Kyrou scored for St. Louis who will host Game 3 Friday night at 8:30.
