Mike Leake allowed four hits over eight innings and Yadier Molina homered, leading the St. Louis Cardinals to a 6-1 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday night at Dodger Stadium. The Cardinals (23-20) won for the second time in their past seven games. The Cardinals and Dodgers will play again tonight at 8:15 on KSMO Radio.

Luis Severino tied a career high by pitching eight innings and led the New York Yankees to a 3-0 victory over the Kansas City Royals Wednesday night. Jason Hammel allowed three runs and six hits in six-plus innings as the Royals lost for the sixth time in nine games. The Royals will face the Yankees this afternoon.
