The Salem Baseball Tigers will open District play on Saturday at Owensville against St. James starting around 4:00. Salem is seeded 3rd in District play. You can hear the game on KSMO Radio (1340 AM and 95.7 FM) and the game will be video streamed on MSHSAA.TV. There is a charge to watch the game of $10 plus a service fee. The broadcast will start about ten minutes before the first pitch with Tiger Talk and Coach Tony Edwards.

The Salem Tigers Tennis team fell to the School of the Osage 5-1 yesterday in the district finial.

Juan Yepez hit the only home run in the game to help the St. Louis Cardinals beat Baltimore 10-1. The Cards and Orioles play again this afternoon starting at 11:20 on KSMO Radio.

Whit Merrifield hit a home run in the 3rd inning to but the Kansas City Royals on the board. They beat the Rangers 8-2. The Rangers and Royals play again tonight in Texas.

The St. Louis Blues will face the Wild in Game 6 in St. Louis tonight at 8:00 on KSMO Radio. St. louis leads the series, three games to two. The winner of the series will face the Colorado Avalanche.
