The Salem Lady Softball Tigers banged out ten hits and Alaina Norris struck out 16 Lady Warhawks as the Salem Lady Tigers beat Bourbon Wednesday, 10-3. Norris gave up six hits and three runs over seven innings while walking three. Shaylee Thomas, Maddie Mercer, and Josie Bowers each had two hits while Bailey Mahurin had two RBI for Salem. The Lady Tigers are 2-0 on the year and they will play in the Mountain Grove SCA Tournament Saturday.

The Salem Baseball Tigers will be at Ellington this evening starting at 5:45 with a varsity only game against the Whippets. Salem enters the game with a 1-2 record while Ellington is 0-3. That game can be audio streamed on KSMO Media and the game will be heard on KSMO Radio immediately following the St. Louis Cardinals broadcast.

The Salem Tiger Tennis Team moved to 2-0 on the year with a 6 to 3 win over Marshfield Wednesday. The Tennis Tigers will host West Plains this afternoon at 4:00 at the Salem City Park.

The St. Louis Cardinals begin their 2026 regular season against the Tampa Bay Rays at 3:15 this afternoon. It will be Matthew Liberatore for the Red Birds against Drew Rasmussen of the Rays. The pregame festivities for Opening Day will begin at 1:30 on KSMO Radio.

The Kansas City Royals will open their regular season Friday against the Atlanta Braves in Atlanta.

The St. Louis Blues will host the San Jose Sharks Thursday night on KSMO Radio. That game will be delayed one hour so it can be heard in its entirety immediately following the Salem Tigers game around 7:30.
