The St. Louis Cardinals will have the day off today after being swept and shutout in three consecutive games by the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Kansas City Royals were in Seattle last night playing their third game in a for game series against the Mariners. Salvador Perez drove in Bobby Witt Jr. twice, once in the first and again in the eighth inning but it wasn’t enough to overcome the three runs scored by Seattle as they defeated the Royals, 3-2. Game four will start tonight at 9:10.
