The American League beat the National League during Tuesday’s All-Star game, 5-3. The third inning was where the bulk of the scoring was made with a three run homer by Dodgers’ Shohei Ohtani, then in the bottom of the inning a Juan Soto doubled in two runs with a David Fry single that tied up the score. The fifth inning would prove to be decisive for the American League All Stars as they scored the final two runs of the game with a Jarren Duran two run home run. There were 39,343 in attendance for the game.
The Cardinals will play next vs the Braves in Atlanta at 6:20 tomorrow evening. This game can be heard live on KSMO 1340 AM & 95.7 FM.
The Royals will host the White Sox tomorrow at 7:10 in the evening.
