Reese Dodson’s 3-point attempt fell just short as the Salem Boys Basketball Tigers lost to the St. Clair Bulldogs Wednesday night in the opening round of the Owensville Tournament by the score of 48-45. Dodson led Salem with 18 points. Salem will play Cuba today at 5:30 in the consolation bracket. You can hear the game on KSMO and on ksmoradio.com at 5:15. Salem is 2-7 on the year.

The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers will be off until Monday night when they will travel to Thayer to face the Lady Bobcats in SCA play. Salem is 1-0 in the SCA and 9-5 on the season.

The Healthy Dent County Fitness Center will once again hold line dancing classes this January every Thursday night starting tonight from 6:30 to 7:30. Everyone is invited to attend! The St. Louis Blues will host the Washington Capitals tonight after Salem Basketball. The Blues have lost two straight home games and have lost 11 at the Enterprises Center this year. That game can be heard on KSMO Radio.

The Missouri Basketball Tigers will be off until Tuesday, January 8th when they will begin SEC Conference play against Tennessee.
