The Salem Tigers Boys Freshman Game will be held tonight at Owensville against Pacific. The start time is 6:45. The Finals of the tournament will be moved to Friday.

The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers will be at Sullivan to play the Lady Eagles this evening starting at 5:30 with the JV game with the varsity game to follow. Salem is 10-9 on the year and 3-0 in the SCA Conference.

The St. Louis Blues will be at Arizona tonight at 7:30 to face the Coyotes. The Blue shave lost two straight and four of their last six games. You can hear the game on KSMO Radio AM 1340 and 95.7 FM.

The Healthy Dent County Fitness Center will be holding a WPLF “Iron Mania” this Saturday starting at 10:00 in the morning and lasting until 5:00 in the afternoon. The competition is open to men and women over 13 years of age. The competition will be in the exhibit area of the Salem Community Center@The Armory. Prices start for competitors at $70 for a single event a and spectators are welcome for a $10 fee. Concessions will be available. Former St. Louis Cardinal 3rd basemen Scott Rolen was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame Tuesday. Rolen was the only one of the 28 players eligible to be voted into the Hall to get the necessary percentage of votes. Rolen played with St. Louis for six seasons staring in 2002.
