The shorthanded Salem Tigers lost to Waynesville, 72-47 Wednesday night to drop to 2-10 on the season. The Tigers were without Lucas Morrison and Braiden Carmack and had only six players available for the game. Salem was led by Easton May with 12 points, Levi Smith added 11 and Gunnar Konkel netted 10 more. They will play Friday in the consolation game in the St. James Tournament at 4:30. that game will NOT be aired on KSMO Radio.

Tomas Hertl scored for San Jose in the shootout as the Sharks beat St. Louis, 2-1 Wednesday. Brayden Schenn had the only Blues goal. The Blues play Los Angeles Saturday and Sunday nights at 6:30 each evening on KSMO Radio.
