The Salem Basketball Tigers will host the Ava Lady Bears tonight at the SHS Gym. The JV game will be first at 6:00 followed by the varsity match at about 6:40. The last day to sign up your 3-5 year old boys and girls for the “Start Smart Soccer” Program through the City of Salem Park and Recreation Department will be tomorrow at 4:30 at the Salem Community Center@The Armory at 1200 West Rolla Road. This indoor program helps teach these youngsters about soccer basics and parent participation in the program is required. The cost of the program is $55 and each participant receives a soft bounce soccer ball, a size three soccer ball, a set of shin guards, four practice cones and a T-shirt as well as four days of instruction. The St. Louis Blues will host Winnipeg tonight at 7:00 with the game broadcast delayed until about 8:10 on KSMO Radio after Salem Lady Tiger Basketball.

Healthy Dent County Fitness Center Director Susie Cahill wants to let members know that the Fitness Center will be closed for painting this Sunday.
