The Lady Eagles defeated the Lady Tigers of St. James last night by a score of 47-35. The Lady Eagles will host the Licking Lady Tigers tonight with a 5:30 varsity tip off time.

The St. Louis Blues were down in Dallas to face the Stars last night. While only sending five shots to the goal early on, Pavel Buchnevich and Jordan Kyrou gave the Blues a 2-1 lead by the end of the first period. That single goal advantage melted away in the second when a trio of Stars each netted a goal. Down two, Jimmy Snuggerud and Alexey Toropchenko brought the Blues back and tied up the game with four and a half minutes left in regulation. But then with only seconds left Jamie Benn of the Stars scored the final goal defeating the Blues, 5-4. The NHL is heading into the Olympic break and Blues’ next game won’t be until Thursday, February 26th when they’ll host the Seattle Kraken.
