The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers are scheduled to face the Mountain View-Liberty Lady Eagles tonight with the JV game at 6:00 followed by the varsity contest. It will be the “Pink Out” night. Salem enters the game with an 11-9 record on the season and 3-0 in the SCA Conference. KSMO Media will provide video coverage of both games on ksmoradio.com, KSMO stream Facebook Page and on the KSMO YouTube page. The JV will not have audio while the varsity game will and will also be heard on KSMO Radio AM 1340 and 95.7 FM. GAME POSTPONED – RESCHEDUELD FOR SATURDAY AT 3:00 AT THE SHS GYM.

Last Friday night in Owensville, the Salem 9th Freshman Tigers lost to the Fatima Comets in the Championship game of the Owensville Tournament, 55-26. The Salem Freshman went 2-1 in the tournament and took home 2nd place. Good job Tigers!

Four Missouri Tigers scored in double figures as the Tigers went on to beat LSU Wednesday night at Mizzou Arena, 87-77.Kobe Brown led the way with 26 points followed by Noah Carter and DeAndre Gholston who each scored 14 points. The Tigers got 12 more points from Isiah Mosley to improve to 17-5 on the year and 5-4 in the SEC Conference. The Missouri Tigers will be at Mississippi State Saturday afternoon at 4:30.

Vladimir Tarasenko has been selected to represent the St. Louis Blues at the 2023 NHL All-Star Game in Florida. This will be Tarasenko’s fourth trip to All-Star Weekend after previously making appearances in 2015, 2016 and 2017. In three career All-Star games, he has scored one goal and tallied four assists (five points), which ranks third in franchise history. Named to the All-Star Game by NHL Hockey Operations Departments, Tarasenko has 10 goals and 19 assists for 29 points this season. The Skills Competition will be Friday night while the All-Star games will be held Saturday.
