The Bunker Lady Eagles and Oak Ridge Lady Jays were on the court last night for District 1 Class 1 Semifinal play. The Lady Jays got off to a quick start and held off Bunker with a 4 point advantage at the end of the first half. Late in the third the Lady Eagles tied up the game at 40, and in the fourth, outscored Oak Ridge 22-12 taking home the 63-57 victory. Leading the Lady Eagles on the night was Kinsey Barton’s double-double performance with 28 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Hailey Turnbough with 13 points. Kaelyn Deckerd led the Lady Jays with her 27 point performance. Bunker heads to the District Championship game is this Friday evening in Scott County Central High School. Tip off is scheduled for 6:00.
