The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers took second place Wednesday at the Mountain Grove Holiday Tournament as they fell to Hartville, 62-51. Savannah Manthey led Salem with 18 points followed by Ashton Bowers scoring 16 and Avery Erway adding 10. Salem is 8-4 this year and will host Cabool Monday in the first SCA Conference game this season at the SHS Gym. KSMO Radio will carry the varsity game Monday as well as video livestream the game on ksmoradio.com.

Salem’s Savannah Manthey and Ashton Bowers were named to the All- Tournament Team from the Mountain Grove Holiday Tournament. Congratulations ladies!

The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers are 2-5 for the season and will play at Vienna Saturday night in a game added to the schedule. The game will NOT be heard on KSMO. The Newburg game, originally scheduled for November 21st, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 5th at the SHS Gym. KSMO will air that game and video livestream that contest as well.

The Tennessee Volunteers beat the Missouri Tigers, 73-53 to drop Missouri to 6-1 overall. Xavier Pinson scored 11 to lead the Tigers. The Missouri Tigers will play Arkansas this Saturday morning at 10:30 on KSMO.

The St. Louis Blues have announced their 56- game schedule for the 2020-2021 regular season. The Blues will open the season against Colorado on January 13th and 15th. All games will be played in a back to back format, but games may be shuffled around depending on any COVID-19 outbreaks.
