The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers beat Alton Wednesday afternoon at the Mountain Grove Christmas Tournament by the score of 58-47. Salem is now 4-7 on the season and they will play Norwood this morning at 11:30 for 5th place in the tournament.

The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers won their second game in a row as they defeated Plato Wednesday afternoon, 65-54 at the Cabool Holiday Tournament. Salem is now 4-8 on the season and they will play Alton this afternoon at 2:00 in the losers bracket final at Cabool.

The Healthy Dent County Fitness Center is offering a free new 30-minute class beginning Saturday mornings called X-Press Class in January. The class starts at 9:00 starting January 7th in the exercise classroom and will be taught by Nicole Lemieux, a certified OPEX Coach. The workouts are based on the AMRAP program which means “as many rounds as possible” and is geared for strength and cardio. For more information, call 739-1127.

Kobe Brown led Missouri with 30 points as the Tigers beat #19 Kentucky, 89-75 at Mizzou Arena. D’Moi Hodge added 15 more while Sean East and DeAndre Gholston eah netted 12 points. The Tigers will play Arkansas next Wednesday night. Missouri is goes to 12-1 overall and 1-0 in the SEC Conference.

St. Louis Blues will host the Chicago Blackhawks tonight at 6:30 on KSMO Radio.
