A Kids Trout Tournament will be held this Saturday at Montauk State Park, sponsored by the Dorman L. Steelman Lodge from 7:00 AM until 2:00 PM. The tournament is limited to children who are 15 years of age and under. There will be two age categories: one for children 11 years of age and under, and the second for those who are ages 12 to 15. Registration will be at the Dorman L. Steelman Lodge. Two prizes will be awarded in each age group at 2:00 at the lodge: one for a trout and the other for a stringer of trout. Gift Certificates will be awarded to winners. Other prizes will be awarded courtesy of the Ray Parker Memorial. For more information, call (573) 548-2201.

Tyler O’Neill hit a tiebreaking pinch single in the sixth inning and five St. Louis relievers dominated beginning in the third inning to lift the Cardinals over the Colorado Rockies 6-3 on Wednesday night. The Cardinals and Rockies wrap up their series this afternoon at 12:15 with the pre-game starting at 11:20 on KSMO Radio.

Alex Gordon hit a two-run homer and drove in four runs, helping the Kansas City Royals pound the sloppy Chicago White Sox 10-5 on Wednesday night. The Royals and White Sox will finish their series with a matinee contest in Chicago.
