The St. Louis Cardinals played the Cincinnati Reds yesterday and despite 10 hits, the Cardinals could only achieve two runs batted in, falling to the Reds 9-2. The Reds secured the series sweep 3-0. The Red Birds will have a day off today and will face the Dodgers Friday evening at 7:15. 

The Kansas City Royals played the Minnesota Twins yesterday and avoided the sweep, winning the game 4-1. They start a new series against the Cincinnati Reds tomorrow afternoon at 5:40.
