The Salem Lady Softball Tigers game with Dixon Wednesday was postponed due to the weather. No makeup date has been announced. The Lady Tigers will host Willow Springs today at 4:30 starting with with Tiger talk and Coach Rebekah Hayes at 4:20. Salem enters the game with a 2-6 record & 0-2 in the SCA Conference. The game will be video streamed on KSMO Media ONLY due to Opening Day for the Cardinals.
The Salem Tigers Baseball rescheduled game with St. James Wednesday was postponed due to wet grounds. No makeup date has been scheduled. The next Salem game will be today at Cabool starting at 4:30. That game will NOT be on KSMO Radio. Salem is 5-1 on the year.
The Salem Tennis Tigers’ Salem Invitational Wednesday at the Salem City Park was postponed and rescheduled for Friday morning at 9:00 at the Salem City Park.
The Salem Golf team will host their Salem Invitational today while the Salem Middle School Track Team will be at Mountain Grove today.
Kyle Higoshioka’s home run in the 4th inning proved to be the difference as San Diego beat St. Louis Wednesday, 3-2. The Cards will host the Miami Marlins today in their home opener at 1:35 on KSMO Radio.
James McCann’s two-run single in the bottom of the 9th inning gave Baltimore a 4-3 win over Kansas City Wednesday. The Royals will start a four-game series with the Chicago White Sox tonight at Kaufmann Stadium.
The Blues will be at Nashville tonight at 7:00. KSMO will join the game after the Cardinal baseball game.
