The Salem Lady Softball Tigers dropped a 6-5 decision in a makeup game from last Thursday that was played Wednesday at Ava. The Lady Tigers host East Carter in a non-conference varsity game only this afternoon at the Salem City Park at 4:30. The game will be video streamed on KSMO Media. The Lady Tigers are 3-4 in the SCA Conference and 6-7 on the year.

The Salem Baseball Tigers will host Dora in a varsity only game today at 4:30 at the Salem High School Baseball Field Complex. The Tigers are 5-12 on the year. Due to Cardinal baseball the game will NOT be on KSMO Radio.

The Salem High School Track teams will be at Mountain Grove today for their invitational starting at 3:30 today.

The Salem Tiger Tennis team won the SCA Conference Championship Wednesday at Willow Springs. Will Christensen and Logan Hubbs finished 1st overall. Congratulations Tigers!

The Arizona Diamondbacks used four pitchers and held the Kansas City Royals to five hits as the D-Backs beat the Royals, 2-0. The Royals will be at Minnesota to start a four game series with Twins tonight.

Paul Goldschmidt hit two home runs to give St. Louis a 2-0 lead, but San Francisco scored seven unanswered runs, then held off a 9th inning Cardinal rally to beat the Red Birds, 7-3. The Giants go for the four-game sweep this afternoon at 1:50 on KSMO Radio.
