The Salem Baseball Tigers are scheduled to host Mountain Grove today at 4:30 in SCA Conference play. Salem is 4-10 on the year and 2-3 in the SCA Conference. If played, the game will be on KSMO Media starting at 4:15.

The Salem Lady Softball Tigers are scheduled to be at Ava this afternoon. They are 3-5 on the year, 2-3 in the SCA Conference.

Nolan Gorman hit a grand slam and Tommy Edmon hit a three-run homer as the St. Louis Cardinals blasted the Arizona Diamondbacks Wednesday afternoon, 14-5. Edmon finished with three hits and five RBI as the Cardinals banged out 13 hits. St. Louis has the day off today and will be in Seattle Friday night.

The Kansas City Royals were swept by the Texas Rangers losing Wednesday, 12-3. the Royals went 0-6 in the home stand. One highlight of the game Wednesday was a long home run by Bobby Witt, Jr. The Royals are off today and will be at Anaheim Friday night.
