Caden Camden scored twice in the 3rd quarter on runs of 16 and 14 yards respectively as the Salem Tigers came from behind and beat Houston Friday night, 20-14 in SCA Conference play. Camden finished with 146 yards rushing on 19 carries in the game. Salem’s other touchdown came on a Garrett Connell fumble recovery and return of 72 yards in the 1st quarter. Salem is now 2-1 on the year and 1-0 in the SCA Conference. They will be at Thayer Friday night.

The Salem JV Football game with Houston tonight has been cancelled due to a Houston player being diagnosed with COVID-19 and his teammates being quarantined.

The Salem Lady Softball Tigers will host Waynesville today at the Salem City Park field at 4:30. For those not attending the game, KSMO will stream the game video live on ksmoradio.com via twitch.tv. The Salem Lady Volleyball Tigers will be at West Plains tonight to face the Lady Zizzers starting at 5:30. Salem enters the game with an 0-3 record. The Lady Tigers game with Potosi scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed and will be made up at a later date.

Cincinnati hit three home runs in the game and scored three runs on one hit in the 7th inning to take the lead en route to a 10-5 win over St. Louis Sunday. The Cardinals will play a double header today at Milwaukee starting at 3:15 today. You can hear both games on KSMO.

Kansas City scored 10 runs by the 3rd inning and cruised to an 11-0 win over Pittsburgh Sunday as they swept the series form the Pirates and have now won six games in a row. The Royals have the day off today.
