The Salem Football Tigers beat the Willow Springs Bears Friday night by the score of 27-12. Salem is now 3-3 on the year and they will be at Mountain Grove Friday in SCA Conference play.

The Salem Lady Softball Tigers tournament at Linn Saturday was cancelled. The Lady Tigers will host the St. Clair Lady Bulldogs at 4:30 today at the Salem City Park. Salem enters the game with a 7-8 record.

The Salem Lady Volleyball Tigers will host Bunker today with the Varsity game first at 5:30 at the SHS Gym. Netcoming festivities will follow the Varsity game.

The Missouri Football Tigers lost to the 14th ranked Tennessee Volunteers Saturday by the score of 35-12. Missouri’s lone touchdown was scored by Larry Roundtree and Harrison Mevis kicked two field goals for the black and gold who fall to 0-2 on the year. In won’t get easier for Missouri who will be at LSU Saturday at 8:00 to face the 17th ranked Tigers.

The San Diego Padres ended the St. Louis Cardinals season Friday night by shutting out the Red Birds using nine relievers in the game, 4-0. Jack Flaherty took the loss giving up two runs in six innings as the Padres took the last two games of the wild card series. The Padres will now face the Los Angeles Dodgers. In the wild card setup, there were seven central division teams from the National and American Leagues that made the playoffs, but every central team was eliminated.

The Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots game scheduled for Sunday was rescheduled for tonight at 6:05 due to COVID-19 outbreaks. The Chiefs enter the game with a 3-0 record while New England is 2-1 on the year.
