Sylis Dubois rushed for 212 yards and three touchdowns while Brody Ray added two more scores as the Salem Football Tigers beat the Cabool Bulldogs Friday night, 33-6. With the win, Salem improves to 3-6 on the season and 2-5 in the SCA Conference. The win also moved Salem into the 4th seed in Class 3, District 5, and they will host Buffalo Friday night at 7:00 in the first round of district play.
Simon Edvinsson scored twice in the third period, and the Detroit Red Wings rallied with six consecutive goals to defeat the St. Louis Blues 6-4 at Little Caesars Arena on Saturday.
Jake Neighbours scored twice for St. Louis while Jordan Kyrou and Pavel Buchnevich added goals who blew 4-0 lead. The Blues will be at Pittsburgh tonight to face the Penguins. The game will start at 6:00 and the pregame show on KSMO Radio will begin at 5:30.
Missouri football quarterback Beau Pribula was carted off of the field in the third quarter of the Tigers’ game against Vanderbilt on Saturday which Missouri lost, 17-10. He is expected to miss the rest of the regular season. Jude Jones scored the lone Missouri touchdown on a pass from freshman Matt Zollers who replaced Pribula at QB. Missouri is now 6-2 on the year and 2-2 in the SEC Conference. Missouri will have this Saturday off before hosting Texas A&M on November 8th.
The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Washington Commanders tonight starting at 7:15. Washington is 3-4 on the year while the Chiefs come into the game with 4-3 record.
