The Salem Football Tigers fell to the Cabool Bulldogs Friday night, 56-13 to finish the regular season with a 1-8 record. Carter Degon scored on a one-yard run and Tobey Gover scored on a fumble recovery in the end zone. Salem is seeded 6th in districts for their first district game Friday night against the St. James Tigers who Salem lost to in the first game of the year, 44-0. St. James is seeded 3rd with a 3-6 record. You can hear the game on KSMO Media starting at 6:45 with Tiger Talk and Coach Neal Myers. The game will be video streamed ONLY on MSHSAA.TV and there is a charge to watch.

The City of Salem Youth League Basketball and Cheerleader signups are being held now through November 6th for boys and girls in 1st through the 6th grades. The cost for basketball players is $35 and the cost for cheerleaders is $45. There will be an additional late fee for those who register after November 6th and no registrations will be accepted after November 13th. Practices will begin in December and games will be held in January. The Missouri Football Tigers built a 24-3 lead at the half and then held on to beat the South Carolina Gamecocks Saturday afternoon, 34-12. Cody Schrader ran the ball 26 times for 159 yards and two touchdowns. Missouri is now 7-1 and they have this Saturday off before traveling to Georgia November 4th.

Brandon Saad scored two goals as the St. Louis Blues beat the Pittsburgh Penguins Saturday night, 4-2. The Blues also got goals from Colton Parayko and Jake Neighbours as they will begin a four-game road trip starting in Winnipeg Tuesday night at 7:00 on KSMO Radio.

Patrick Mahommes was 32-42 passing for 424 yards and four touchdowns as the Kansas City Chiefs won their sixth straight game, 31-17 over the Los Angeles Chargers Sunday. The Chiefs will be at Denver Sunday afternoon. KC is 6-1 on the year.
