Cabool sophomore Dakota Overby caught a 25-year pass from quarterback Will Johnson in the end zone with five seconds left, then scored on a two-point conversion to gave the Cabool Bulldogs a 15-14 win over the Salem Tigers Friday night. Salem had taken a 14-7 lead on a Tristan Newman touchdown with just 1:46 left in the 4th quarter. Chandler Gray also scored for Salem in the game. Salem falls to 3-6 and they will travel to Eldon to face the Mustangs Friday night at 7:00 in the first round of districts. The Tigers finished the SCA Conference with a 2-5 record. Admission to district game is $5.00 for everyone six years of age and above. The football stadium is at the Eldon Middle School.

The Salem Lady Volleyball Tigers will be at Union tonight for district play and will face the Owensville Dutchgirls in the first round starting at 6:15 tonight. Admission to the contest is $5.00 for anyone six years of age and above. The winner will play St. Clair Tuesday night.

Drew Lock threw for 350 yards and four touchdowns on 23-for-29 passing, and Missouri defeated Memphis 65-33 in its homecoming game on Saturday. Albert Okwuegbunam caught six passes for 159 yards and three touchdowns and Jalen Knox had five catches for 104 yards and a score. Missouri improves to 4-3 and they will host Kentucky on Saturday at 1:00 on KSMO Radio.

Ryan O’Reilly scored his first goal with St. Louis, and Jake Allen made 22 saves as the Blues beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-1 on Saturday night. Robert Bortuzzo, Zach Sanford and Ivan Barbashev also scored, and David Perron added two assists for St. Louis, which picked up its second victory in seven games this season. The Blues will be at Winnipeg tonight to face the Jets starting at 6:30 on KSMO Radio.
