Senior Carter Pruett ran for four touchdowns and passed for two more scores Saturday as the Mountain View-Liberty Eagles celebrated their Homecoming festivities by beating the Salem Tigers Saturday, 53-0. Salem falls to 1-7 and will be at Cabool in their final regular season game before districts begin on October 27th.

The Salem Junior Varsity Football Tigers will be at Mountain View-Liberty this evening at 6:00 to face the Eagles. This will be the JV’s last regular season. They are 2-4 going into the game.

The Middle School Girls Basketball Tigers lost to Vienna in the Bland Tournament Championship game Friday night, 26-24 to take 2nd place in the tournament. Great job girls!

The Salem Lady Volleyball Tigers are seeded 5th in the Class 3, District 9 tournament that will begin at Owensville tomorrow night. Salem will play Cuba at 5:00 and you can hear the match on KSMO Media beginning at 4:45 with Tiger Talk and Coach Deanna Atkinson. KSMO will video stream the game on MSHSAA.TV.

Trailing 14-0, the Missouri Tigers got the spark they needed on a fake punt when punter Luke Bauer therw a touchdown pass to Marquis Johnson as Missouri then rolled to a 38-21 win over #24 Kentucky. Brady Cook threw for one score and ran for another as the Tigers improve to 6-1. The Tigers will host South Carolina Saturday at 2:30.

Robert Thomas scored the only goal in the shoot-out as the St. Louis Blues beat the Seattle Kracken Saturday night, 2-1. Jordan Kyrou scored the only Blues regulation goal. The Blues host Arizona Thursday night at 6:30 on KSMO.
