The Mountain Grove Panthers scored on the last play of the 1st half, then took advantage of two Salem turnovers in the second half to come away with a 20-13 win over the Tigers Friday night at the SHS Field. Garrett Connell ran for one touchdown and threw for another to Kaden Coffman in the game. Salem falls to 1-5 on the year and 1-4 in the SCA Conference. They will be at Mountain View-Liberty Friday night to face the Eagles at 7:00.

The Salem Volleyball Tigers went 2-1-1 in the Licking Tournament Saturday. Salem defeated Eminence and Park Hills Central, split the games with Houston and lost to Mountain View-Liberty. Salem is now 7-10-2 on the season and they will be at Plato tonight starting at 5:30 with the JV contest with the varsity match to follow.

The Salem Lady Softball Tigers are seeded 5th in District play that will begin tomorrow in Aurora. Salem will play Aurora at 6:00 Tuesday evening. The cost of admission is $5.00 for anyone who is six years of age and older. Due to scheduling conflicts, the games will NOT be carried on KSMO Media.

Tyler Badie ran for 217 yards and two touchdowns as the Missouri Tigers beat North Texas Saturday at Faurot Field, 48-35. Missouri is now 3-3 on the year and they will be at Texas A&M Saturday morning at 11:00 to face the Aggies who are coming off an upset win over Alabama Saturday.

The St. Louis Blues beat Columbus Friday night in their final pre-season game by the score of 7-3. Seven different Blues scored in the game with Robert Bortuzzo having a goal and two assists. The Blues finished the preseason with a 4-3-1 record and open the regular season Saturday at Colorado starting at 7:30 on KSMO.

Josh Allen was 15-26 for 315 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Buffalo Bills to a 38-20 win over the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium Sunday. The Chiefs, now 2-3 on the year, turned the ball over four times. Kansas City will be at Washington this Sunday at noon.
