Bradlee Gover scored two touchdowns for Salem, one on a 19-yard run and another on a 33-yard fumble recovery and return as the Salem Football Tigers beat the Osage Indians in the first round of District play Friday night at the SHS Field, 30-20. Caden Camden scored a rushing touchdown for Salem and Quarterback Garrett Connell threw a ten yard strike to Kaden Coffman for another touchdown. Salem is now 7-3 and they will be at Blair Oaks Friday night to face the Falcons who are 10-0 in the District 2nd round game. The game will begin at 7:00 and you can hear Tiger Talk with Coach Dylan Wyrick starting at 6:35 on KSMO Radio and online at ksmoradio.com. Those attending the game will have to pay a $5.00 admission at the gate. That price is for everyone who is six years of age and above as set by MSHSAA.

Ryan O’Reilly scored midway through overtime Saturday as the St. Louis Blues Minnesota, 4-3. The Blues Saturday were coming off of a 4-3 overtime win Friday night against Columbus. David Perron scored that game winner eight seconds into overtime after the Blues overcame a 3-1 deficit in the game. The Blues will be back in action Tuesday night at Vancouver starting at 8:30 on KSMO.

Harrison Butker kicked a 43-yard field goal as time expired to give the Kansas City Chiefs a 26-23 win over the Minnesota Vikings Sunday. Butker finished the day with four field goals. Matt Moore was 25-35 for 275 yards and one TD pass to Tyreek Hill. The Chiefs are now 6-3 and they will be at Tennessee Sunday afternoon to face the Titans.
