The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers are seeded 7th and will play Waynesville Tuesday night at 6:00 at the Sullivan high School in the FCNB Bank-It Championship. In an earlier bracket released that was incorrect, it had Salem playing tonight. The Tigers will face the Tigers prior to the Sullivan – Potosi game Tuesday night. Salem is 0-1 on the year going into the game. You can hear the contest on KSMO Radio beginning with Tiger Talk and Coach Conrad Prugh at about 5:40 Tuesday afternoon.

In his final home game, Missouri quarterback Drew Lock rushed for two touchdowns and threw for two more as the Tigers beat Arkansas 38-0 on a damp and dreary Friday. Lock completed 16 of 25 passes for 221 yards, surpassing the 3,000-yard mark for the third straight season. Emanuel Hall caught both touchdown passes and finished with six receptions for 153 yards. Larry Rountree rushed 29 times for 119 yards to exceed 1,000 yards for the season. The Tigers finished the regular season with an 8-4 overall record and 4-4 in the Southeastern Conference. The Tigers are bowl eligible and will be attending their second straight bowl game and their 11th in the last 14 years. The bowl selections will be made next Sunday.

Patrik Laine scored five goals Saturday night to lead the Winnipeg Jets’ to an 8-4 victory at St. Louis. David Perron, Vladimir Tarasenko, Ryan O’Reilly and Pat Maroon scored for St. Louis who was coming off an impressive 6-2 win over Nashville Friday night. Ryan O’Reilly, Brayden Schenn and Alex Pietrangelo finished with a goal and an assist in that game. The Blues have lost four of their last five games and are 1-2 under new Coach Craig Berube. The Blues will be at Detroit Wednesday night to start a three game road trip.
