The SCA All-Conference Teams for Football and Volleyball have been released. For the Salem Football Tigers, a total of 10 football players were recognized for their fine play. Salem had two players named to the All-SCA Conference 1st Team and they were Brandon White on the offensive line and at defensive back, Caden Camden. The Tigers had three players named to the All-SCA Conference 2nd Team which included Brenden Smith at linebacker, Hunter Shaw on the offensive line and wide receiver Dawson Mock. Named to the All-SCA Honorable Mention Team were quarterback Garrett Connell, tight end Carter Chilton, defensive lineman Earl Jarvis, offensive lineman Brett Fore, and Bradlee Gover for punting, kicking as well as his play on the defensive line. The Salem Lady Volleyball Tigers placed two girls on the All-SCA Honorable Mention Team. Those two girls were Melony Whitman and Avery Erway. Congratulations Tigers!

Reese Dodson scored 22 points to lead the Salem Basketball Tigers to a 72-49 win over Newburg Saturday. The JV also won 37-19. The varsity’s next game will be Tuesday, December 3rd from Sullivan when the Salem Tigers tangle with Farmington in the 1st round of the FCNB Bank-It Championship. That game will be on KSMO Radio and online at ksmoradio.com.

The Salem Lady Tiger Tigers will be at Plato tonight starting their regular season at 6:00 with the JV game then varsity game to follow.

Nashville scored three first period goals and St. Louis could not come back Saturday night and fell 4-2 to the Predators. The Blues will be in Nashville to face the Predators tonight at 6:30 on KSMO Radio.

The Tennessee Volunteers capitalized on five Missouri turnovers Saturday and beat the Tigers, 24-20 which is the 4th straight loss for Missouri. The Tigers finish their regular season play against Arkansas Friday at 12:30 on KSMO.
