The Salem Lady Tigers Basketball began their 2021-2022 season with a convincing win over Northwest (Cedar Hill) Friday, 64-30. The Lady Tigers will be off until Norwood Invitational Tournament that will begin on December 6th.

The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers lost to the Dixon Bulldogs Friday night at Dixon, 62-33. The JV also fell Friday night, 46-43. The Tigers will be back in action tonight at the SHS Gym against Vienna starting at 6:00 with the JV contest with the varsity game to follow. The varsity game can be heard on KSMO Radio and video streamed on ksmoradio.com, YouTube and the KSMO Stream Facebook page starting around 7:10 with Tiger Talk and Coach Bryan Carty. Access to the video stream can also be made through the Salem High School website.

Roope Hintz scored two shorthanded goals as the St. Louis Blues fell to the Dallas Stars Saturday night, 4-1. Brendon Saad scored the only Blues’ goal. The Blues will host the Vegas Golden Knights tonight. The game will be delayed due to Salem Tiger Basketball game and it be starting around 9:10 on KSMO.

Tyler Bazelak’s 2-point conversion pass to Daniel Parker Jr. in overtime gave Missouri a 24-23 win over Florida after Tyler Badie’s 13-yard touchdown run got the Tigers to within one point. Badie finished with 146 yards on 27 carries. Kicker Harrison Mevis was 3 for 4 in the game with the longest of 46 yards. The win means Missouri is now Bowl eligible with a 6-5 record. They will play Arkansas Friday afternoon starting at 2:30 on KSMO Radio.

The Missouri Basketball Tigers Sunday beat the SMU Mustangs in the Jacksonville Classic in overtime, 80-75. The Tigers were led by Kobe Brown with 24 points and Ronnie DeGray III added 18 points. The Tigers are 3-1 on the year and they will take on Florida State this evening, but the game will not be heard on KSMO due to Salem Tiger Basketball and Blues Hockey.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Travis Kelce scored rushing touchdowns in the first half as the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Dallas Cowboys Sunday, 19-9. The Chiefs improve to 7-4 on the season and lead the AFC Western Conference. They will have next week off before facing Denver on December 5th.
