Garrett Connell ran for two touchdowns and threw for two more, but the Salem Tigers fell short Saturday against the Ravens of Priory by the score of 34-32. Without Jimmy Barton who was out due to illness, Connell rushed for 154 yards on 25 carries and was 11 of 15 passing for 268 yards to lead Salem, but was tackled short of the goal line with 1:52 left in the 4th quarter going for the 2-point conversion as the Tigers were trying to tie the game. Salem had converted their three previous 2-point conversion tries in the game. The Tigers finished the year with a 2-7 record. Priory will host St. James Saturday afternoon at 1:00 after the Tigers upset St. Clair Friday night, 13-12 at St. Clair.

Tory Krug scored a power play goal midway through the 3rd period for the only goal of the game as the St. Louis Blues beat the Chicago Blackhawks Saturday, 1-0. The Blues are 6-1 on the year and will hit the road for the West Coast where they will play Los Angeles Wednesday night at 8:30 on KSMO Radio.

Tyler Badie rushed the ball 31 times for 254 yards and two touchdowns to lead Missouri past Vanderbilt Saturday, 37-28. Conner Bazelak was 22-28 passing for 218 yards for a touchdown and an interception. Tyler Macon and Keke Chism also scored for Missouri who improves to 4-4 on the year and 1-3 in the SEC Conference. Missouri will be at Georgia Saturday morning at 11:00 and you can hear the game on KSMO.

The Kansas City Chiefs will play the New York Giants tonight at Kansas City at 7:15 on ESPN. The Chiefs are 3-4 on the year.
