Logan Hubbs and Layton Southards took 2nd in doubles in the Individual District Tennis Tournament and advance to sectionals. Gunnar Konkel and Lawson Petty took 4th in doubles and Will Christensen took 3rd in singles. All are All-District! Sectionals will be in Mexico, Missouri on Friday. The Salem Tiger Tennis team will host the Class 1, District 8 TEAM first round against Houston today at 4:00 at the city park.

The Salem Tigers Baseball team will play a double header today at home starting at 3:30 against Thayer followed by a game with Mountain View-Liberty. These will be varsity games only. You can hear the games on KSMO Radio (1340 AM and 95.7 FM) and stream them live on KSMO Media. Salem is 6-7 on the year and they are 2-2 in the SCA Conference.

The Salem Varsity Track Team will travel to West Plains this afternoon at 4:00 for the West Plains Open.

The Salem Tiger Golf team will compete in the Class 3 District 1 today at Farmington.

St. Louis Cardinals lost a 4-3 decision to the San Francisco Giants Sunday and split the four-game series. Newcomer Juan Yepez hit his first major league home run in the game. The Cardinals will have the day off today.

The Baltimore Orioles scored three 1st inning runs and held on for a 4-3 win over the Kansas City Royals Sunday in Baltimore. The rubber game of the three-game set is today.

David Perron and Jordan Kyrou each scored twice as the St. Louis Blues beat Minnesota Sunday, 5-2 to even the best of seven playoff series at two games each. The two teams play Tuesday night at 8:30 in Minnesota.
