The Houston Tigers took advantage of six Salem errors scoring three unearned runs in beating Salem Friday, 7-4. Salem is 6-7 on the year and they are 2-2 in the SCA Conference. The Salem Three Way Tournament scheduled for Saturday against Plato and Mountain Grove was cancelled due to wet grounds. Salem will play Cuba Tuesday afternoon in makeup game at Cuba.

The Salem Tiger Tennis team beat Houston Friday, five matches to none to go to 5-6 on the year. They did not participate in the Osage Tournament Saturday due to the weather. The tennis team is scheduled to play At the School of the Osage today at 4:30. NOTE: The Salem Tennis match with Osage in Salem today has been rescheduled for Tuesday at 4:30.

The Salem Tiger Varsity Track team will travel to Mountain Grove this afternoon at 1:00 for the SCA Conference Track Meet. NOTE: The SCA Conference Track Meet for today at Mountain Grove has been postponed and rescheduled for Tuesday at 1:00.

The Middle School SCA Track Meet that was originally scheduled for Tuesday has been moved to Thursday at Willow Springs.

Harrison Bader’s two-run homer in the bottom of the 7th inning put St. Louis ahead and Nolan Aranado added a solo shot as the St. Louis Cardinals came-from behind to beat Arizona Sunday, 7-5 and split the series with the Diamondbacks. The Cards play Kansas City at 11:20 today in the make-up game from April you can hear the game on KSMO Radio.

The New York Yankees finished a sweep of the Kansas City Sunday beating the Royals, 6-4. The Royals lost to the Yankees Friday night, 12-2 and were shutout on Saturday, 3-0. The Royals and Cards play this afternoon at 12:15.

The St. Louis Blues lost to the Vegas Golden Knights Friday, 7-4 as Ryan O’Reilly scored two goals in the season finale. The Blues ended up in 3rd place in the Central Division and they will be at Minnesota to begin the best-of-seven playoff series tonight at 8:00 on KSMO Radio.
