Haiden Sanders two-run RBI single in the 4th inning helped lead the Salem Baseball Tigers past the Dora Falcons Friday afternoon at the SHS Baseball Field, 6-2. Blake Edwards pitched five innings and gave up two runs on four hits. Kash Howard had two hits for Salem who will host Cuba Tuesday at 4:30 at the SHS baseball Field. Salem is 6-12 on the year.

The Salem Lady Softball Tigers are seeded 4th in the Class 2, District 3 Softball playoffs which will begin on Friday, May 5th. Salem will play Licking at 2:00 on Saturday at the Potosi Trojan Sports Complex against the 5th seeded Licking Lady Wildcats. The winner will play the winner of Potosi and Grandview (Hillsboro) game Monday afternoon, May 8th at 4:30 at Potosi.

The Salem Lady Softball Tigers will be at Bourbon for a varsity only game Wednesday starting at 4:00. They are 6-7 on the year.

The Salem High School Track teams will be at Mountain Grove today for the SCA Conference track meet starting at 2:00.

The Salem Tiger Tennis teams will be at the School of the Osage today at 4:00. The Tigers are 8-4 on the year.

St. Louis Cardinals pitchers walked eight LA Dodger batters and four of them scored and Los Angeles came back to beat the Red Birds Sunday, 6-3. St. Louis went 2-8 on the West Coast Road trip and stand at 10-19 on the year. They will have the day off today.

Brady Singer gave up eight runs in just over two innings as the Minnesota Twins took three of four games from the Kansas City Royals as they beat them Sunday, 8-4. Vinny Pasquantino had three hits and two RBI for Kansas City who have lost seven of their last ten. They will have the day off today.
