Kaiden Dubois doubled home the game tying run and Corby Ball laid down a perfect suicide squeeze bunt in the 5th inning as the Salem Tigers beat Cuba Saturday in district play, 3-1. The Tigers will play Sullivan tonight at 6:30 in the semi-final game at Owensville. The game can be heard on KSMO Radio AM 1340 and 95.7 FM, ksmoradio.com and the KSMO Stream Facebook Page. The game will be streamed on MSHSAA.TV and there is a charge to stream the game. Admission at Owensville for anyone six years of age and older is $6.00 per person.

The Salem Tigers Tennis Doubles team of Logan Hubbs and Gunnar Konkel beat St. Charles Saturday, 6-0 and 6-4 to advance to State on Thursday at Springfield. Congratulations!

Nolan Arenado had a homer and four RBI as the St. Louis Cardinals beat Boston Sunday, 9-1 and completed a three-game sweep coming from behind Friday and Saturday in the 9th inning. The Cards play Milwaukee tonight at 5:50 or joined after Salem Tiger Baseball.

Milwaukee scored seven runs in the 3rd inning and beat the Kansas City Royals Sunday, 9-6 to complete the three-game sweep. The Royals will be at San Diego tonight.
