The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers trailed Rolla at halftime, 36-17, but the Tigers battled back to within two points with 43 seconds left only to turn the ball over twice in the offensive zone and falling to the Bulldogs, 54-49 in the Class 4, District 9 Tournament Friday night. Reese Dodson scored 17 points to lead the Salem Tigers followed by Braiden Carmack with 11. Salem finished the year with a 13-14 record.

The Missouri Tigers beat Alabama Saturday to wrap up their regular season by the final score of 69-50. Dru Smith had 17 points to lead Missouri while Mark Smith added 13 more. Missouri finished the regular season with a 15-16 and 7-11 in the SEC Conference. Missouri will play Texas A&M Thursday in the second round of the SEC Conference Tournament as they are seeded 10th. That game at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville will begin at 6:00. That game can be heard on KSMO Radio.

Robert Bortuzzo and Alex Petrangelo scored the only goals of the game as the St. Louis Blues shutout the Chicago Black Hawks Sunday night, 2-0. On Friday, the Blues eight game winning streak was snapped with a 4-2 loss to New Jersey. The Blues will play Florida tonight at 6:30 in a game that was moved from Tuesday to tonight so that the makeup game with Anaheim could be played Wednesday night. Harrison Bader was on base three times and had a two-run single and Paul Goldschmidt doubled in two runs as the St. Louis Cardinals beat Miami Sunday, 7-3. The Cardinals will play Minnesota today.

The Chicago White Sox got out to a 5-0 lead before the Royals scored the next four runs but could not finish the comeback and lost to the White Sox, 5-4. The Royals will play the Los Angeles Angles of Anaheim this afternoon.
