Matt Carpenter and Tyler O’Neill homered, but the New York Mets scored four runs in the 7th inning to beat the Cardinals, 10-8. On Saturday, the Cardinals beat the Miami Marlins as Jeremy Martinez doubled home two runs in the bottom of the 8th inning for a 4-3 victory. The Cardinals are 3-4-2 on the spring. The Red Birds will play Detroit this afternoon.

The Kansas City Royals banged out ten hits and were also given 11 walks as they beat the Cleveland Indians Sunday, 13-7. The Royals scored three times in the 1st inning and four more in the 2nd inning. The Royals are 6-4 this spring and they have the day off today.

Freshman guard Torrence Watson scored 20 points and Missouri beat South Carolina 78-63 on Saturday. Forward Kevin Puryear scored 18 points. Missouri is now 13-15 over all and 4-12 in the Southeastern Conference. They will be at Georgia Wednesday night at 5:00. You can hear the game on KSMO Radio.

Jamie Benn had three goals for his fifth career hat trick, and the Dallas Stars beat the St. Louis Blues 4-1 on Saturday night in St. Louis. This loss came on the heels of a lackluster effort Friday night where the Blues lost to the Carolina Hurricane in Raleigh, 5-2. The Blues have lost four of their last six games since their 11-game winning streak. They will make a West Coast trip starting Wednesday night at Anaheim.
