John Nogowski’s two-out two run single broke a 2-2 tie and led the St. Louis Cardinals to a 5-2 win over Houston on Saturday. In the second inning, the Cardinals got a two-run two out homer from Dylan Carlson, his first home run of the spring. St. Louis did not play Sunday and they will play Miami today. The Cards are 7-6-4 during spring training.

The Kansas City Royals banged out 13 hits and beat the Colorado Rockies Sunday, 6-1 to end a five-game winless streak. The Royals on Saturday tied Arizona Diamondbacks, 6-6 and on Friday, tied the LA Angels of Anaheim, 4-4. The Royals will play the San Diego Padres this afternoon in Arizona. Kansas City is 13-6-2 this spring.

The Royals signed catcher Salvador Perez to a 4-year extension Sunday worth 82 million dollars.

The St. Louis Blues beat the San Jose Sharks in a shootout Friday night, 2-1 on Vladimir Tarasenko’s shoot out tally. Tyler Bozek scored in regulation for the Blues in the 3rd period to tie the game. On Saturday night, St. Louis beat the Sharks by the score of 5-2. Jordan Kyrou scored twice for the Blues while David Perron, Ryan O’Reilly and Vince Dunn also scored in the game. The Blues have won two straight after losing five straight games. They will be in Las Vegas tonight to face the Golden Knights starting at 8:30 on KSMO.

The Missouri Basketball Tigers lost to Oklahoma Saturday in a see-saw battle from start to finish, 72-68. Dru Smith scored 20 points for the Tigers followed by Jeremiah Tilmon with 16 and Mark Smith with 11 more. Tilmon led Missouri with 12 rebounds in the game as the Tigers were eliminated from the NCAA Tournament and finish the year with a 16-10 record.
