The Salem Tigers Athletic Banquet will be held Tuesday night at 6:30 at the Salem High School Cafeteria for the Boys and Girls Basketball Teams as well as the cheerleaders. Players and their parents are welcome to attend at no charge. There will be a $5.00 charge for any fan that would like to attend.

Breein Tyree scored 21 points, Devontae Shuler knocked down clutch baskets late and Ole Miss defeated Missouri 73-68 on Saturday. Missouri finished the regular season with a 14-16 record and 5-13 in the SEC Conference. Freshman Xavier Pinson scored a career-high 20 points and his rookie counterpart Torrence Watson added 14. The Tigers will play Georgia in the SEC Tournament this Wednesday night at 6:00.

Kevin Labanc scored at 3:21 of overtime, Timo Meier had two goals and the San Jose Sharks beat the St. Louis Blues 3-2 on Saturday. Brayden Schenn and Pat Maroon scored for the Blues who will host the Arizona Coyotes Tuesday night starting at 6:30 on KSMO.

The New York Mets scored four runs in the 2nd inning off Austin Gomber and finished with three homers in the game as they blasted the St. Louis Cardinals Sunday, 9-1. The Cards play the Washington Nationals this afternoon. St. Louis is 6-8 this spring with three ties.

The Kansas City Royals jumped out to a 6-0 lead after the 3rd inning only to have San Diego score 11 runs in the last five innings and beat the Royals, 11-6. Whit Merrifield, Adalberto Mondesi and Cam Gallagher all homered for Kansas City who is 10-7 with a tie this spring. They will play Texas tonight in the desert.
