Pedro Pagés hits his first major league homerun on Friday that helped the Cardinals to a 3-0 victory over the Chicago Cubs behind the superb pitching of Kyle Gibson who gave up two hits over seven innings. After losing to Chicago Saturday, 5-1, Pagés homered again in the third game Sunday, a two-run shot that propelled the Cardinals to a 2-1 victory to win the series, two game to one. Miles Mikolas had another strong outing going 6 1/3 innings giving up one run on four hits. The Cardinals are at the .500 mark with a 35-35 record. They will be in Miami to face the Marlins tonight at 4:45 on KSMO. Tomorrow night, the game will be moved up 1/2 hour due to the Florida Panthers Stanley Cup Playoff game and will start at 4:15.

Kansas City fell to the LA Dodgers Sunday, 3-0 and lost the series, two games to one as KC won Saturday, 7-2. They will be off today before starting a 3-game series Tuesday in Oakland.
