Downtown St. Louis was lined with Blues fans from Union Station to the arch for the St. Louis Blues Stanley Cup Victory Parade. Even rain earlier in the day didn’t reduce the crowd which was estimated at 1,500,000 people. Each Blues player will now get a chance to take the Stanley Cup to their hometown for a day to celebrate.

Paul DeJong’s 8th inning homer was the difference as the Cardinals beat the New York Mets, 3-2. Paul Goldschmidt had a tw-run homer for the Cards in the 1st inning. St. Louis will host the Florida Marlins tonight at 6:20 on KSMO.

Kansas City scored two runs in the 7th inning and three more in the 8th to beat the Minnesota Twins Sunday, 8-6. The Royals start a three game series in Seattle tonight.
